Obtain the Interact Handbook ASAP- This will help you obtain the necessary information to run a successful Interact Club. Please share with your officers and advisors. Contact your sponsoring Rotary Club or your Rotary Advisor to order your handbook.

  • Plan to have your officers meet with you, your faculty advisor and Rotary advisor to discuss and decide on the agenda prior to your general membership meeting (perhaps 1 week before).

  • Discuss and decide on projects; develop your club's calendar.

  • An Interact Club in good standing needs to do at least one community service project and one international service project for the year.

  • An Interact Club in good standing needs to register their Interact Club with Rotary International to indicate that their club is currently active.

  • An Interact Club in good standing should pay their District Interact dues ($25.00) no later than the LTW.

  • Each Interact Club is advised to consider having one joint project with their Rotary Club.

  • Each Interact Club is advised to consider having one joint project/or meeting with another neighboring Interact Club in their zone.


As in the Rotary Club, Interact Clubs need to encourage their Interact members, or Interactors, to follow the four avenues of service:

1. To be a good club member
2. To support their school
3. To support their community
4. To work towards international understanding
