This year's Rotary theme (2009-10)

Interact Officers and faculty advisors are asked to make transportation arrangements NOW and make plans to register ASAP for the upcoming
27th Annual Interact Officers Leadership Training Workshop after receiving soon to be mailed registration materials.
This workshop is for the benefit of both new and established Interact Clubs. The LTW will have interactive sessions for interact officers,
as well as, for the teacher advisors. The LTW provides everyone with the opportunity to meet student officers and teachers from other
clubs; to listen and exchange ideas about various projects and important issues. Interactors will share thoughts and ideas on how to be successful
and how to have fun when working together on a project.

Many Interact Clubs depend upon their sponsoring Rotary Clubs to help pay for their registration fees.

Please be advised that all Rotary Interact Service Clubs are asked to pay their $30.00 annual dues for 2009-2010 in September, 2007. Please consult with your Rotary Club Advisor for further information.

Interact officers should think of projects that will involve a group of interactors having fun and working together towards
accomplishing a goal. If your club is large, then try having more than one project going on. This will help to involve many
of your members. Designate a few co-chairmen to lead each project. Announce these projects at your meetings and have sign-up
sheets. Appoint duties or assignments; establish a committee(s). The co-chair(s) should update you and your club as to the
progress of the project and/or its completion, at each meeting.

Rotary International, Rotary District 7510, and our District Interact Committee encourage public relations from each
of our Interact Clubs. Designate an Interactor or Interactors (form a committee) to make a short report about each project;
encourage member participation by taking some candid photos of your club working on that project. Develop a scrape book.
Encourage awareness of your club by posting your projects on a school bulletin board or in the school newspaper; develop a
club newsletter and or a club web-site. Contact your local newspaper to publicize a noteworthy club project.

Let your sponsoring Rotary Club know of your projects. Interact Clubs should update their sponsoring Rotary Club
periodically. Interactors should invite some Rotarians to one of their meetings, as well as, have some of their interact
officers visit their sponsoring Rotary Club- contact your Rotary Advisor.

Encourage membership growth by raising awareness of Interact- what it is and what it does- in the community and
beyond. Through the local news media, school bulletin board, or school newspaper, you can help promote Interact's positive
image and the efforts of Interactors in your area. Make plans to visit the students who will become incoming freshmen and
speak to them about joining your Interact Club.
